Sarah and Patrick

Sarah and Patrick’s wedding was a first of mine.  A destination wedding.

This year was my first real year of seriously branching out into the art of wedding photography solo, and to be provided this opportunity was amazing.  After the initial thrill of being chosen to capture their big day, I had to research Delaware.  Honestly, beyond a few song references and some minor historical facts, I knew nothing of the state.

The wedding took place in the town of Lewes, which is situated in Cape Henlopen.  The town is small and quaint, with beautiful beaches, warm people and amazing beer.

The wedding of Sarah and Patrick was held in a beautiful beach house, which was awash with positive energy and activity on the day of the wedding.  The weather was perfect and the scenery was simply amazing, with endless water as a backdrop to a beautiful beach ceremony.

Sarah, Patrick and the entire wedding party were warm, full of energy and a blast.  There was plenty of food and booze to go around and the dancing was in high gear all night… well at least until the second or third noise complaint.  I don’t quite recall, but I couldn’t have been happier to be there to party with the Sarah and Patrick and capture their special day!  Thanks again you two.
